1. About this site
Q: What is Ryokan ?
A: Ryokan is traditional type of hotel in Japan. Please refer to this page.

Q: In which area do you have ryokans and hotels ?
A: Basically we cover all areas in Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa.

Q: Can't I check the room availability on the website ?
A: In order to arrange rooms for groups flexibly, our website doesn't show the availability of rooms. Therefore please let us know your details, then we will check the availability of rooms and respond you with quotation soon.

2. Quote
Q: How long will it take to receive the quote ?
A: Please note we will reply you by email within 3 business days.

Q: Can you look for the room availability in the area even if I don't specify any ryokan/hotel ?
A: Yes, please push "Quote" button and fill in only prefecture and city. Then we will look for the room availability in the area.

Q: Do you charge to the quote ?
A: No, quotations and checking the availabilities are free of charge.

Q: Do I need to register as a member ?
A: No, member registration is not necessary.

Q: What is included in the quote ?
A: Room rate, meals (basically 2 meals for ryokan, 1 meal for city hotel), and tax are included. Please note personal expenses at ryokan/hotel (drinks, bar, etc) are not included in the quotation.

Q: How do you charge to children ?
A: Adults over 12 years old, Child A from 6 to 11 years old, and Child B from 3 to 5 years old. Child from 0 to 2 years old are basically free of charge, but some ryokan/hotel may require about 3,000 JPY

3. Reservation
Q: How can I make a reservation ?
A: Please let us know by email with Quotation Number which we have sent you in the quotation. And we will reply with the confirmation of reservation.

Q: How far in advance can I make a reservation ?
A: Basically 6 months in advance.

Q: Until when can I make a reservation ?
A: You can make a reservation until 7 days in advance. However we recommend you earlier reservation since the availability will be low especially in top seasons.

4. Payment
Q: How do I make the payment?
A: Please make the payment by credit card in advance. We accept VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, and Diners. We will send you a payment email with URL link to the secured credit card payment form through which you can make a payment online.

Q: When should I make the payment?
A: Please make the payment 30% of the total amount as application fee within 72 hours after you confirm the reservation. Then we can proceed to make the room arrangement. And please note the rest amount should be paid in 3 weeks prior to your check-in day.

Q: Can I make the payment at ryokan/hotel ?
A: We are sorry but the payment needs to be made in advance.

Q: How about the personal expenses at ryokan / hotel ?
A: Please pay your personal expenses by cash in Japanese yen or credit card at ryokan / hotel.

Q: Can I get receipt or invoice for my payment ?
A: Sure. We can send you receipt and invoice by email upon your request.

5. Cancellation / Change of reservation
Q: Can I change my reservation ?
A: Although it is possible to correspond within the possible range, depending on the dates and contents of change, cancellation fee may be required.

Q: How is cancellation fee?
A: Depending on the date you contact us to cancel your reservation, there will be cancellation charge. Please refer to our cancellation policy.

Q: How is the standart date and time of cancellation date ?
A: Japan Standard Time (GMT+9) will be standard date and time for your cancellation. Please note our business hour is from 9:15AM to 17:30 PM. If you contact us after our business hour, it will be counted as the next day.

6. Other
Q: Can I request vegetalian meal or Halal meal ?
A: Yes. If you have any food restriction due to any health or religious reason, please let us know when you send us quote request. Please note it may not be available if you request it after reservation. And some special meal may require extra charge.

Q: Do you provide transportation ?
A: Yes, we can arrange private chartered van, bus and guide as well anywhere in Japan. Please feel free to request us when you need anything for your trip.
